Giacomo Bertizzolo

(He/Him)

I am a Mathematician. From 1st November 2023, I am working as a "Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter" (scientific staff member) at the University of Regensburg in the group of Denis-Charles Cisinski.
I am also an associated member of the SFB 1085 - Higher Invariants funded by the DFG.

I am interested in homotopy theory, higher categories, algebraic K-theory, and any intersection of these with algebraic geometry.

Seminars

During the summer term of 2024, I will organize the seminar "K-theory of finite fields" with the help of Dr. George Raptis (Γιώργος Ράπτης). The seminar schedule and other information are available on the following webpage and on Grips.

During the summer term of 2024, Andrea Panontin and I are organizing the Ph.D. Seminar at the University of Regensburg.

Notes

Sooner or later, I will add a link to some notes. In particular, I should have some notes on the K-theory of stable infinity categories, following what I did for my Master's thesis.
I am also writing notes for the course "Formalization of Higher Categories" given by Prof. Denis-Charles Cisinski, and notes for "Acyclic Maps and Plus-Construction" given by Dr. George Raptis.
